Corporate reorganization takes effectOn June 1, 1994, the HSC's corporate reorganization took effect. From this date onwards, the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health and Pediatric and Child Health Patient Services (formerly Pediatric and Child Health Nursing) reported to the same vice-president, Helen Wright. The departments of Anaesthesia and Surgery reported to Susan VanDeVelde-Coke. The situation was further complicated by Bishop's departure on that date. According to documents provided to this Inquest, there were a number of acting heads, including Dr. John Bowman until September 15, when Dr. Brian Postl took over the position of head of Pediatrics and Child Health.
